Right now we’re a team of three.

An avid follower and participant of politics Matt felt it was important to start a publication focusing on what politicians do day to day.
Kelly is our social media and engagement editor. She is a multi-talented work-a-holic, political junky and caffeine addict. Kelly studied paralegal studies with a local business college, as well as journalism with NBCC and Political Science through Athabasca University. She has a passion for social media marketing and management and is always watching for the effects of algorithms on day-to-day life.

With a background in sociology and anthropology, Stew’s very interested in politics, media analysis, and examining the underlying social factors of day-to-day life for the average person.Stew’s role as copy editor with Committee Trawler is to ensure the team knows the details, gets them right and provides the people with an accurate, digestible, understanding of the issues that affect the Halifax Regional Municipality.
